    Booked Princes Gate as we had stayed there before. Reason for booking, to hear Elizabeth Marvelly sing at Rotorua Civic Theatre. Hotel run by family, excellent service and decor in keeping with age and period of hotel. Can fault nothing.

    We loved everything about the Hotel, service and staff were great, we ate in the dinning room at night and food was great everyone was so friendly and will definitley stay there next time we are in Rotorua. We had booked in a hurry as we bought someone down for a funeral and were so pleased we stayed there.

    The location is perfect

    The bed was only a double and exteremely lumpy and there were not fans in the rooms. The windows only opened outwards so this didn't let much air or breeze in.

    Fine overall experience. Simply stunning place to stay while in Rotorua. Particularly good and excellent location, very close to Tamaki Maori Village. Easy to find, very close to a main street and an art gallery. Excellent services, fast Wi-Fi. Very nice facilities, parking on street🙂🙂❤

    The colonial ambiance is good, and the mineral pools were enjoyable, despite being smaller than expected. The staff were friendly. The carpeting in the room was threadbare and posed a safety concern with protruding tacks. The restaurant experience was mixed. While the food was well-cooked, the service felt awkward and the dessert was disappointing, which affected the overall dining experience.
